The card offers access to a free reward program. Through the reward program, cardholders will earn a 1% rebate on purchases and cash advances. Cardholders will receive five CitiDollars for each individual balance transfer transaction of $1,500 or more. A $50 check will automatically be issued every time $50 CitiDollars have been earned. Checks cannot be issued for less than $50.
The card has no annual fee, an attractive 0% introductory rate on balance transfers for up to twelve months, and a reasonably low interest rate for purchases. However, there is a minimum cap for cash advances; so no matter how low the Prime Rate falls (the APR is tied to the Prime Rate), the interest rate will not go below the minimum cap.
